Jake - "Friend of the Week" in Kindergarten

This week was Jake's turn to be "Friend of the Week" in his Kindergarten class. The week began with his "All About Me" poster, followed by bringing in some of his 'treasures' from home & getting to have the class mascot, Clifford, spend the night at our home. Doesn't he look proud?

Jakey's Monkey Party

You might be a little "bananas" after viewing all these monkey party pics - but we had a WILD time! If you don't know my Jakey - he begins planning the theme of his party each year the week FOLLOWING each birthday. So, the weem after he turned 5 last year, he announced he wanted a monkey party. He's done this since he was THREE! I'm glad to oblige and figure he must've come by this honestly ;-) So, we had monkey cupcakes, a monkey vine in the dining room, chocolate monkey suckers, and monkey party favors. Jake was so happy to have his family here: Nannie, Papa, Amy, Mason, Grammy, Pop, Kevin, Keresa, Savannah, Simone, & Brody. It was a house FULL, but it was great to be with family and celebrate the SIX years we've had with our Jakey Monkey. We Love You, Jakers!!

Happy Birthday, Jake! We're so thankful for your sweet giggles, playful personality, and loving nature. We are so blessed and we love you!

Birthday party and festivities this weekend. Did a little "monkey makeover" to Jake's room as an early Birthday treat. Just "un-babied" his room, removing all the nursery decor. Yes, he's almost six...it was about time!!

Happy New Year from The Williams!

Christmas came & went like a flash, but with many blessings this year! We spent lots of time with family -- having both Wes & Amy's families here, along w/Mom & Dad for a Christmas get-together; also heading to Hartselle to spend some time with Grandaddy and Joyce; Christmas Eve with Cory's family; Christmas Day with Cory's parents for lunch; then both families were here (some, anyway) for a small piano recital for Ben on Christmas Day. The boys also had a combined birthday party at Pump It Up this year, but will also have family dinners at home to celebrate. Ben turned 10 in November and Jake will be turning 6 in January..wow! Many blessings to you ALL and your families during the coming year!

Open House at the boys' school - This is in Jake's kindergarten class; Ben just in from basketball practice. No, Ally isn't sucking her thumb, just being bashful b/c everyone was telling her how cute she was ;) Next stop was his classroom, but he wasn't "up" for us photographing him at his desk :)
