Washing Machine Overflow = Bath Renovation!!

Three weeks ago, we began an IMPROMPTU bath renovation. It came as a result of the washing machine overflowing (part broken) and filling our 1/2 bath with water and soaking the carpet, pad, & all the other funk underneath. Of course, like the WILLIAMS we are, we did all the work ourselves. I'll tell ya, I think there just isn't anything my handyman hubby can't do!! One thing's for sure - you never miss a toilet until you don't have one. We managed to have 2 with stomach bugs & potty training Ally with no downstairs potty. Whew!! Aren't we troopers? Enjoy the before & afters...

Today, Jake and the other kindergarteners went to school dressed as a king/queen/prince/princess for their Valentine Celebration. What fun, right? Not so for a kid who doesn't EXACTLY dress up very much. I promised him that I'd make it so that later we could use it as a superhero costume. So..here ya go. Doesn't his face say it all??

Ally's big girl bed

Just finished re-painting my old bed for Ally's "big girl" bed..although I think I heard her call it a "good girl" bed. She's certainly been a good girl lately. She just started potty training and has done consistenly well. Although - I sure hope she comes out of this phase of wanting to show everyone her "big girl" panties...ha!
